There aren't many movies that make me laugh out loud once, let alone multiple times. "Get Him to the Greek" nearly brought on tears repeatedly.
An intern (Jonah Hill) is sent to bring hardcore rocker Aldous Snow (Russell Brand) from the UK to L.A. for an anniversary concert in three days. Once clean and sober, Snow has degenerated into a world of drugs and outbursts making life difficult for the mild mannered intern.
The movie is just flat out funny. I steadily chuckled, laughed, and guffawed throughout. Brand and Hill turn out to be an excellent comic duo. Brand provides the over-the-top behavior and bizarre commentary, and Hill provides the ultimate straight man and constant victim of Brand's shenanigans.
