Review of Get Him to the Greek (2010) by Fernando Rafael Q — 12 Nov 2011
Moderately enjoyable comedy from Nicholas Stoller, spun off the far better Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Funny enough to not qualify as a waste of time, but the tonal shifts and the sheer unlikability of its characters weigh Get Him to the Greek down.
The performances are great, however. Russell Brand was born to play obnoxious Aldous Snow; Jonah Hill and Elisabeth Moss are memorable, but it's Rose Byrne and (quite surprisingly) Sean 'Diddy' Combs who steal the whole show.
