Review of Get Him to the Greek (2010) by Antony G — 15 Feb 2012
Amongst the endless profanities is a script & amongst the gratuitous drug taking & drinking yourself into oblivion is a moderately funny film starring one of the most self centred stars to come out of the UK, Russell Brand, you couldn't have chosen a more apt person to play the role of a washed up rock star, along with Hollywood's most unfunny guy, Jonah Hill who to give him credit bucks the trend that you have to look like Bradley Cooper or Brad Pitt to become a Hollywood actor! I wouldn't be surprised if this movie was up there with the unwanted record of the most swear words used in a movie category which doesn't guarantee laughs nor make it hip & cool.
Even throwing in a few cameo appearances from the music world doesn't save this sad little film.
