GET HARD had a few funny moments, and many more moments that COULD have been funny, but that fizzled out. Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart kept it alive (just barely), because sometimes they were allowed to cut loose with their crazy, profane, manic energy.
For the most part, though, it just doesn't cut it. One breakthrough: It must contain more jokes about anal rape than any other movie in cinema history. (And if you can't guess who set Will Ferrell's character up from the moment the character appears on screen, then you have no brain.
).
