Review of Get Hard (2015) by Kurt F — 27 Mar 2016
Get Hard is a film starring Will Ferrel and Kevin Hart. With these two comedy actors you'd expect comedy gold from this film but you'd be sadly mistaken. This film is just another sorry excuse to have a comedy released into theaters for the pleasure of those who accept the lowest common denominator gags as high art.
The film premise is completely stupid as well as it basically conveying that its ok to get raped in prison and you should basically prepare for it. Yah thats the exact kind of movie I want to watch (sarcastically).
Overall this movie tries its real hardest to get laughs out of you with its generic humor thats been done over and over again in other crappy comedies but in the end its just a film with terrible writing, awkward humor, idiotic characters, a completely dumb premise and basically all of the above.
