Review of Get Hard (2015) by Joe R — 21 Dec 2015

I think we are at the point where we all know Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart's jokes are simply not working anymore. Get Hard features both actors at their worst, with almost no synergy between the two and jokes filled with awkward pauses.

The comedy game is changing, yet these two stars aren't. There are several places that made me laugh, but it was because of well-written jokes, but not from the personas of either stars. It is not to say that the film does not attempt a quirky idea, its just the execution and character development aspects of the film dragged the rest of the quality down.
