Review of Get Carter (1971) by Ryan J — 27 May 2011
Michael Caine plays Jack carter who's brother dies in a drink driving accident so when he goes up to Newcastle for the funeral he knows something is amiss so he gets to the bottom of it by hurting a few Geordies.
some good scenes and even for its time some of the violence is brutal. Pretty gripping stuff and Caine is great as the gangster with no qualms about hurting anyone male or female, to get what he wants.
