Review of Get a Job (2016) by Larry C — 20 Aug 2016
This movie surprised me. I rented it solely because of the main three actors (Anna Kendrick, Miles Teller, and Bryan Cranston) which in their own individual way brought life to their own stories that are intermingled with one another.
Until an emotional scene between Miles Teller and Bryan Cranston, I was barely at three stars but after that scene it jumped to four stars in my book. It's not the usual comedy that you'd find from either three actors, but it ended up being good enough in my book to remember the whole movie two weeks later.
