Review of Get a Clue (2002) by Eric On His Fantasy Quest V — 27 Jul 2009
Trust no one. Question everything. Get A Clue. The pampered rich Lexy Gold spends her life amongst the wealthy and elite of Manhattan, boasting herself on her ability to write on the school newspaper's gossip column. When Mr. Walker mysteriously goes missing, Lexy and her working-class friends Jack, Jenn, and Gabe set out to solve the crime case that would eventually save their favorite teacher's life.
Get A Clue features great acting performances from the following cast:
1.) Lindsay Lohan (Lexy Gold).
2.) Bug Hall (Jack Downey).
3.) Ian Gomez (Mr. Walker).
4.) Brenda Song (Jenn).
5.) Ali Mukkadam (Gabe).
Not only that I'm amazed of the film's featured espionage, I'm also surprised that it takes place in Manhattan, and the kids are rich and are into the latest fashions. Still fresh from her cute and clean child star appearance, Lindsay Lohan does her good job in acting while doing Lexy's job as a gossip columnist, making her an original Gossip Girl for the junior high set, minus the queen bee personality, thank goodness. Get A Clue is a great old school Disney Channel film, in an early 21st century era untouched by the tween school music madness.
