Unusual, interesting and frustrating in equal measures....

Firstly, the film is a stunning watch visually. Also, Casey and Matt put in some nice work here. Understated and natural, it's refreshing to see such unshowy performances.

The plot is thin at best and in his attempt to make an experemental story, Gus's tale is vague, ambiguous and seemingly pointless.

Quite what they are doing in the wilderness to begin with is a mystery which becomes quite frustrating.

Overall, it's a decent watch which will probably be hated by your average member of the public but I get the feeling that repeated viewings may reveal more...
