Review of Geri's Game (1997) by Campbell P — 15 May 2011
A pixar short in which an old man (Geri) plays chess with himself; initially quite slow, it builds in tempo and then has a twist ending - but the whole premise isn't really creative enough to sustain interest.
Pixar have certainly brought out better, more original and funnier animations since this one - and I'm not sure that this represents Pixar at its best.
