Review of Gerald's Game (2017) by Isadore H — 10 Oct 2017

Gerald's game is a great thriller/horror by Mike Flanagan, director of one of the scariest films I've seen, Oculus. Once again, he is great in almost every aspect of the direction here, he does a great job blending past and present scenes together as well as creating a series of shots that are a visual masterpiece for the eyes.

Carla Gugino is phenomenal in her role, she really brought a lot of humanity to her character, and did especially well for the camera being focus on her for almost the whole film. My only huge flaw with this film is that the beginning is not real strong, I also thought I was not scared by this film, despite it being marketed as a horror movie.
