This Oscar winning animated short from 1950 was the introduction of the character Gerald McBoing-Boing. He would star in a couple more shorts and then in his own tv series. Dr. Seuss wrote the rhyming story.
Gerald can only make sounds. A tale of onomatopoeia. The animation style is a great example of its era.
