This movie has many events happening, some unexpected turns. The story is interesting. The CGI might not be as good as in Marvel movies, but interesting plot replaces that. Gerard Butler is in his style of acting, not very different from other movies (which is good for fans who just want to see more of regular Gerard Butler).
This movie also has emotional moments and I almost shed a tear at the ending. Yes, this movie does have some cliches, but at least they are mixed with new things, so that's fine.
