A charming and very simple watch that tells its sweet natured story well. The makers attempted to blend comedy, drama, and romance together and they did so creating a very watchable matinee type movie that very much shows its age (the pacing is more than a little off), but this is still a somewhat forgotten gem that's worth tracking down for fans of classic British cinema.
