Review of Gentlemen Broncos (2009) by Richard B — 08 Aug 2010
This quirky comedy from the director of Napoleon Dynamite is a disappointment and it's really seeming like he was a one-hit wonder. This film has a decent plot and has a good cast (hell even Sam Rockwell is in it), but it just isn't very funny and many laughs fall flat.
Jermain Clement was supposed to be hilarious in this, but I was very disappointed with his character and rarely laughed at him. The make-believe story starring Sam Rockwell was pretty stupid even though I wanted to enjoy it, because of Sam Rockwell.
Overall a pretty stupid comedy that had very few laughs and in my opinion was a big let down.
