I think we can say Napoleon Dynamite was a one hit wonder for this writer and director. Did the same thing as Dynamite with the weird characters but really just didnt work the same way and just really wasnt that funny.
I thought the sci-fi story bits went on way to long and were just stupid. Jemaine Clement's voice cracked me up when he first started to talk then I noticed it didnt make him his usual funny self.
