Review of Gentlemen Broncos (2009) by Matt L — 05 Jan 2011
From the writer/director of Napoleon Dynamite comes another goofy story, but this time with a pretty decent plot played out by a buch of semi-unknowns. The thing I liked about this movie is the main character is very likable (unlike hapless bumbling weirdo Napoleon dynamite).
A dozen or so funny one liners, fantastic music, and an ending that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside. And even if you don't LoVE this one, it's only an hour and twenty-five minutes long.
Short and sweet. If you don't appreciate indie films, skip it, otherwise, definitely worth a shot on Netflix.
