Jemaine Clement as a pretentious sci-fi writer, a shitting snake, darts covered in crap, Sam Rockwell as a trannie Yeast Lord, flying deer with rockets up their asses...seriously, how did this film not win an Oscar? Think Napoleon Dynamite crossed with a John Waters film and you've got Gentlemen Broncos: a love letter to bad taste and rubbish sci-fi/fantasy.
Alas not all the jokes work and a lot of it, unless you're into that off-beat style of humour, will fly right over your head. For everyone else though, this is a criminally overlooked little cult gem which will make fans of sci-fi and Napoleon Dynamite very, very happy indeed.
