Much like Napoleon Dynamite, it's weird-for-weird's-sake, but that's not to say it's not funny. Watch it for Jemaine Clement, who is absolutely hilarious to the point where you wish the entire film was only him and nothing else.
It is utterly bizarre, but strikes a few chords with the sci-fi nerds.
