Another quirky comedy 'with funny-looking eccentric people', along the same line as Napoleon Dynamite (both movies were written by the husband and wife team of Jared and Jerusha Hess, with Jared directing).
The movie is about a teenage kid who wants to be a sci-fi writer. While attending a writing camp, his story submitted for critique was stolen by a guest author. The movie is how all this develops and its end result.
Clips of the kid's story - if were filmed B-movie style - interjected throughout the movie. Will enjoy IFF you got ND.
