Review of Genius (2016) by Nick U — 09 Jan 2017

A wonderful cast filled with some of my favorite actors and cinematography that captured the time and place beautifully yet something was lacking. The movie only touches on a very small part of Wolfes' life and can be slow in places. It does capture the brilliance and pain of genius as experienced not only by Wolfe but by Hemingway and Fitzgerald. A good movie but not a great one, even though it is about one of the great writers of our time.
