This match is famous. I've seen documentaries on this match and the movie fell far short. It was idiotic that they decided to give bobby Riggs 3 excuses why he lost the match. 1) he got divorced 2) he wasn't training.
3) his son was not there. It's so idiotic. He lost because she was 27 years younger and a world class elite athlete. Period. It was idiotic the movie gave him so many excuses.
