Review of Gemini Man (2019) by The3Academysins — 15 Oct 2019

Gemini man is a spectacle that lacks substance. Is it the worst movie ever created? No, definitely not. However, the story truly does not live up to the deep, thought-provoking epic that the marketing campaign lead us to believe we would see.

The final product of Gemini man feels like a tech-demo starring Will Smith with about thirty minutes of script hidden behind some good action scenes. While the action is fun, and Will Smith does have some good one liners, the action lacks weight.

As far as the tech showcase we were supposed to see with the deaging and the HFR, there really is not a noticeable difference between this format and regular high definition. This might be an okay movie to throw on in the background, but there was nothing here that grabbed my attention.
