Review of Gattaca (1997) by Nate G — 12 Apr 2012
This is what science fiction movies should be like. Aside from having a lot of imagination, it takes a plausible issue from what the future may hold and challenges it's morality. All the while, Gattaca gives us a viable glimpse of what life may be like some day, while still appealing to the audience by connecting them with the American dream that is chased by Hawkes character.
On top of all of that, the performances from the 3 leads were all outstanding. So, even though not everything about the plot was totally plausible this movie holds up quite well especially compared to other modern sci-fi movies.
