Review of Gattaca (1997) by Lori L — 18 Oct 2012
The story and the ethical question surrounding genetic engineering are seemlessly entwined with a very good narative.
This movie is as much of a person's endurance and tenacity as it is about genetic engineering and it's surrounded moral question.
The screenplay and story are superb in that they never deviate from Ethan Hawke's enduring drive to overcome his situation. The music is nicely placed at appropriate times, although a little romatically classical.
Well done Andrew Niccol, crew, and cast.
This is on my Top 10 greatest list of movies.
