Review of Gattaca (1997) by Trailesque — 27 Sep 2020
The writing (storyline, characters, dialog) was nothing great, but boy did I enjoy watching this. What sumptuous visuals! Smooth, glossy sets, gorgeous faces, and cool costumes. It looks something like an updated version of Lang's Metropolis.
And there are some interesting surprises in the cast, like Gore Vidal, Ernest Borgnine, Loren Dean, and Tony Shalhoub. A memorable scifi drama.
