Review of Gator (1976) by Matthew C — 18 Apr 2011
The sequel to White Lightning is perhaps even more awkward and silly, making me once again question what the deal was with the world when Burt Reynolds was king. Typical Reynolds dullard humor, a few genuinely good action scenes with lots of stuntmen nearly getting killed, and some bloody awful music.
But 'twas all in good fun. Still, the movie felt like it wanted to be more violent and sexy, but never quite gets there.
