Review of Gaslight (1944) by Shane M — 14 Jan 2008
Charlie Boyer & Ingrid Bergman. At first glance it doesn't seem like a great pairing, but as the movie progresses it's evident that Cukor knew what he was doing. If you're a fan of melodrama or suspense films, then you'll love this movie.
The ending, while good, is predictable enough. But it's Bergman at the end of the movie that makes up for it.
