Review of Gaslight (1944) by Indi V — 21 Sep 2010
Fantastic film. Bergman's performance is masterful and the story is quite disturbing. Still, you can pretty much tell who did it in the first 20 minutes, so just sit back and enjoy the ride. Keep your eye out for Angela Lansbury, whose Oscar nom here I really don't understand.
She's not bad, but not outstanding either.
