Review of Garfield: His 9 Lives (1988) by Cave%20 C — 15 Jan 2017
The epitome of envy is something that we can all seek in are hearts if we look down into the dismal abyss ahead of ourselves, with idealisms brought fourth by the cinematic whimsy of Garfield His 9 Lives (1988). within a short distance on the epic trek that lie awaiting in this film, one finds self loathing in the realization that our dear feline friend is demeaned to a position of that of countless and brutal slaughterings found only in this film. not only is this kind of gore present, but one can find no solace in the constant pressure of religious expectations for the viewers of the film, shown although in moderation, but never the less this kind of publisher mentality is that that plagues our youth in a way thats substantial enough to break the psyche of even the most developed of minds. but with respect to the careful writing and animation of the film; along side of gifted voice actors. allowing our life long animated friend to live on through a deus ex machina of sorts. I believe its safe to say that this film will go down in history as one of our nations greatest films, and I hope others will use this film as a benchmark for many films to come.
Sincerely,.
Cave Cat.
