Review of Garfield (2004) by Brandon C — 30 Jul 2010
One of my favorite comic strips and saturday morning t.v. shows...botched. This is a "fish out of water" conflict that bothers me. Why not do this movie in an animated world where the character's themselves live and exist.
One should not try to put CG characters in realistic settings. I feel that they can never make Garfield look believable enough to where he can actually exist. The CG itself has now become a major issue to the overall feelings of the film.
The only perfect, and I mean spot on perfect was the casting of Bill Murray as the voice of the lovable plump tabby cat.
