Funny and craftily done. Breckin Meyer plays the nerdy Jon very well and acts like the pet loving dork that we loved so much in the cartoon. Garfield looks amazing-- almost identical to what he looked like in the cartoon.
Bill Murray is perfect to play him--his voice is hilarious! I don't know why Odie was not animated, but the filmmaker's decision played out well. Odie ended being a moronic yet lovable dog, just as he should.
Any animal lover will enjoy it; any cat lover will delight in it!
