In case Mystic River, Slumdog, and Bastard Out Of Carolina didn't convince you that evil exists in the world this one should do it. Be warned: Gardens' pulls no punches with the source material.
I debate whether parents of young children should view this film. In the end I say yes. Tom Arnold's character is a slap in the face reminding us how devious these type of people are. We all want to think "not my kid" but let us remember that we live in a world where even the brightest adults can be fooled by the simplest of schemes (Madoff).
John Malkovich's performance is excellent.
