Review of Garden State (2004) by Giovanni M — 13 Mar 2014
My favorite film of all-time, Garden State may come off as fake to most people but to me it's near perfect. Zach Braff gives a great performance for a guy who just wants to feel again, Natalie Portman brings a fresh twist to the manic pixie dream girl, and the script masterfully diverts between comedy and drama.
Oh yeah, and the soundtrack is hella rad.
