It's like watching a live action cartoon with an A-list cast. The actors try to make this movie believable but it's so over the top and ridiculous you might as well shut off your brain and pretend you're playing a video game.
Hammy dialogue all over the place, soulless shootouts. Gangster Squad is a classic case of style over substance.
