Review of Gangster Squad (2013) by Tyler L — 15 Aug 2013

I was surprised. I wanted to originally see this movie in theaters but was pushed toward Warm Bodies by my girlfriend as well as the high ratings it had over this movie. I did not like Warm Bodies really at all, it was cute and I liked the idea but it sounded better than it turned out, for myself that is.

This is about Gangster Squad though. Entertaining, good acting and it kept me interested for the majority of the film. I thought Sean Penn was excellent along with Josh Brolin! Would definitely watch it again.
