Review of Gangster Squad (2013) by Michael C — 19 Jan 2014
It's somewhat cheesy, but lots of fun - especially if, like me, you're obsessed with film noir and gangsters. It's not the best movie going around, but it's still entertaining despite its lack of story or character development.
The cast is great, but Sean Penn really shines in his role convincingly as the menacing villain, and real-life crime figure, Micky Cohen.
