Review of Gangster Squad (2013) by Christian S — 09 Feb 2014

I will write a longer review later for this flick but at the moment, this movie is flat out amazing. Being a fan of the time period this movie painted a very convincing picture. Fans of "old" fashioned crime coming to justice will love "Gangster Squad".

I recommend to anyone who wants to involuntarily jump off their couch and say, "Yeah, that's right! You got yours!" That sort of thing.

Oh and to 'bash' a critic:

Peter Rainer, Christian Science Monitor....Ruben Fleischer did what he said he would do...combine a crime drama with a hint of comedic value....and that's what happen....for Peter Rainer to say, "Director Ruben Fleischer and screenwriter Will Beall can't decide whether to make a spoof or a serious drama, so they wrongheadedly attempt both."....You are right...because that's what he set out to do...Hmmmmm.
