Review of Gangster Squad (2013) by Tristan M — 06 Apr 2014

I haven't seen a lot of gangstar movies, and being one of my firsts, I didn't know what to expect. It was slower than I thought it would be, but the action scenes where good, with a great ending fight.

The movie was a funny at times, like during the failed attempt to break into one of Mickeys places, and the break out from jail. There is some good actors, Sean Pean playing the ruthless gangstar Mickey Cohen, who doesn't care who dies, even if its his one men.

The movie isn't slow, has a good plot and good action. Not bad for my first gangstar movie.
