Review of Gandhi, My Father (2007) by Varun B — 10 Aug 2007
While not entirely a balanced story telling endeavor, it still paints a more realistic portrait of an iconic Indian figure via his abandoned son. Akshaye Khanna gives an amazing performance, as does Shefali Shetty.
It reminds you that at times, mistakes are made in terms of family for the price of something bigger, but it doesn't repair the damage that's been done.
