Review of Gandhi (1982) by Éamonn F — 16 Feb 2009
A few tears crept out while watching this one too. Forgiveness and redemption are two of my favourite themes and it's so sad to see the great example set by this man being ignored and India partitioned into India and Pakistan. I guess they still haven't learned since they're at each other's throats on and off to this day.
Ben Kingsley is incredible as Gandhi. What a performance!
