Review of Gandhi (1982) by Caroline P — 31 Mar 2009

This was a so-so movie. I understand that you can't really make a movie about Gandhi and put everything he did in it, but I felt that this movie really just focused on the major things of his life.

I want to know more about his personal relationships, his kids, his wife. It did surprise me that he spent pretty much a quarter of his life in prison. And did anyone else think it was lame that Candice Bergen gets second billing, and she isnt even a major character! She had maybe 6 or 7 lines in the whole movie! But I digress, its a good movie about a great man.
