Review of Gandhi (1982) by Kilian Z — 06 May 2009
A great fresco which relates the Story. Indeed Ben Kingsley did a great performance, & sets are magnificent. Again a movie which show that India is a wonderful place to shout a movie. By the way, a small problem for me is the way it is cut, the movie does not move smoothly from scene to scene.
Even if the first scene is the step that gave birth to the Gandhi, it miss a summarize of his childhood & his beginning as lawyer. I agree that maybe the movie would be longer and boring at some moment.
