Review of Gandhi (1982) by Ricky C — 23 Aug 2010
A British movie portrays the man brave to stand against UK. How can it be objective...They arrest Gandhi and they just release him. I think It shouldn't be that simple. And that scene about the death of 1500 people.
In military court we all witness the justice of GREAT BRITAIN and they show all of us that it's responsibility of the commander. But I ask you, could that massacre may occur under the control of a single commander.
Well then why they don't shot a single scene about the child workers their hands cut off by UK soldiers because the kids were refusing to make carpet for Britain. Yeah Britain's respect to Gandhi is clear but unsuccessful to admit their crimes in India.
India won it's independence so hard not that easy. Visually good but historically weak movie.
