Review of Gandhi (1982) by Nat G — 15 Feb 2011
One of the last great epic films, every shot looks amazing, beautiful shots of the Indian landscapes. The plot is brilliant too, slow at first but it builds and builds. Before seeing this film I didn't know a thing about Gandhi, I knew he was important, but not what for.
Like me if you don't know much about Gandhi, this is a very important film to watch, Gandhi was truly a special and great man. I think I have learnt a lot about life through watching the film, and it is a great lesson for us all, fighting is not the only way.
The film is almost perfect, although I was not a fan of the editing, and the way the story developed, overall though it is hard to fault the film, and it is a must see.
