Review of Gandhi (1982) by Deepak C — 08 Jan 2012
It took me ages to watch this, I think mostly due to fear of all the ways it could go terribly, terribly wrong. Happily, it steers clear of both Hollywood fluff and heavy-handed moral bludgeoning to just nudge along a story that can tell itself.
Minus one star, though, for the 3+ hour runtime (this movie brought to you by Ritalin!).
