Review of Gandhi (1982) by Shantel C — 24 Nov 2013
Gandhi is one of the best bio/history films that I have seen also the longest movies I have ever watch. This movies shows you the highlights of his movement as the adversity he went through to reach his goal of a free India and rights for all Indians.
It all started when he was kicked of a South African train for being Indian in first class which was not allowed during that time. Which lead him to his non-violent and non-cooperation movement in South Africa and independence from the British in India.
This bio-depiction of Gandhi shows native roots and how his religion played a big part in how came up with his way of protesting. Finding enlightenment and freeing himself from karma by trying to unite all Hindus and Muslims and making India a better place for religions.
