Review of Gandhi (1982) by Jack D — 30 Jul 2009
Mahatma Mohandas Gandhi was the most influential and inspiring person who has ever lived. Without him, blacks in America would not have gotten their rights, or would take even LATER to get their rights, and from violent protests.
Along with the person, "GANDHI" is the greatest bio-pic ever made. I haven't seen "MAN ON WIRE" but I've seen many others. Ben Kingsley (you heard this from everyone who has ever watched, people who say "GANDHI" was terrible say Kingsley deserved best actor) but here it once more.
..brilliant. Only flaw was the film didn't grip the attention the entire way, my Dad left the theater and I fell asleep and had to watch the rest in the morning.
