An elegantly long historical lesson on the religious and political figure, Gandhi, played masterfully by Ben Kingsley (it can be argued that there would hardly be another to do so). The pacing is steady and the wide shots are gathered to present a lengthy journey with not just Gandhi but the country of India itself.
